County Clare

It's 8pm and we've just arrived at our druid's cottage in County Clare.  Despite it being a beautiful, warm sunny day, it's become a bit cooler now! We spent the day driving down to the south of Dublin at Han's suggestion but it actually took us a bit off course and we didn't get to see the places we thought we see! However, we saw some very quaint villages and of course, beautiful scenery.

The resident Westie (he's only the second one I've seen!)

There are four cats here too which suits us fine!

  1. The cottage looks lovely and rustic. Thanks for the photos of the gorgeous ginger cat. we're glad you have four of them there. Love the story of getting the hire car out of the airport. It brought back memories of my trying to do hill starts in a manual car in Limerick. We're enjoyiing your posts - hope you're all holding up after the wedding!
    Love, Cathie

    1. Thanks Cathie. We're feeling quite relaxed now and the cottage is a welcome little haven. We all slept well last night and are heading off to explore the Burren national park today. There are a few castles along the way. We really enjoyed driving across the river Shannon too - absolutely gorgeous.
