It was also a bit of a drama picking up the hire car but I won't go into that. We drove to Bath feeling quite seedy but were vey impressed with the architecture (not the bus loads of tourists!) Bath is somewhere I will come back to, along with Ireland. Because we were so tired, we decided to keep pushing on to Cornwall - hopefully we will fit Glastonbury in on another day. The drive to Cornwall was surprisingly easy, give how tired we were. Our 18th century guesthouse is gorgeous - there are two dogs and two cats so once again, we are quite happy with that. One of the cats, as you'll see from the photo, is a bigger, longer haired version of Emmy. One of the dogs is an obsessive, border collie cross. Jen just couldn't help herself and threw the ball for him. Now she has an OCD friend for life!
This part of Cornwall is absolutely beautiful. We've just had dinner on the beach at a gorgeous little cafe at Pentewan and have 'retired to our rooms'! It's only 8 but I feel as if I could sleep for days.
Hope you enjoy the photos. We are here for three nights so will hopefully get to explore this part of the world really well.

Moggie number 1 - can't remember names!
Emmy's double - he was hit by a car last week but is doing fine now - at great expense to his owners though.
This beach is just down the road from us - absolutely stunning. On the way here we discovered a gorgeous little village which we'll explore today. We've discovered we didn't bring enough summery clothes so might have to buy a few things.
This is where we had dinner last night - The Driftwood Cafe.

Expect you've got yourselves set up with bikinis and are lolling about the beach...looks like the perfect place to spend a few days...
